New South Wales
The Big Merino was built in 1985 as a monument to Goulburn and the surrounding district's, fine wool industry. Standing 15.2 meters high, 18 meters long and weighing 97 tones he is an impressive life-like model of Rambo, a stud Ram from a local property, Bullamallita.
South Australia
The Big Lobster was originally conceived in the mid 1970's by local lobster fisherman Ian Backler while traveling in the United States. The process took approximately six months. and it was opened by the South Australian Premier David Tonkin on 15 December 1979.
If you love your fish and chips and you are anywhere near Kingston then the Big Lobster is a "must see" ( or "must eat at") on your itinerary.
Victoria
Ned Kelly looms large over the township of Glenrowan.
His statue is almost as famous as he is (well, not quite).
Everyone who visits the town of Glenrowan gets their photo taken alongside - Big Ned.

The Big Koala, recently renamed Sam, is located at Dadswells Bridge, Victoria. Sam the koala gave much hope to the people of the Victorian Bushfires of 2009. Sam is a welcoming sight to travellers on the road from Melbourne to Adelaide.
