The Comb Crested Jacana Bird is also named the 'Jesus Bird' as it seems to walk on water.
But in actual fact, it has massive feet with very fine 'toes' that are also very long (see photo below) which helps the 'Jesus Bird' to be able to walk on lilly pads with seeminly effortless ease. However, they cannot stand too long on the lilly pads as they are known to sink.
