Feral Animals

Australia's native plants and animals have adapted to living on an isolated continent over millions of years. Since the settlement of Europeans in Australia, they have had to compete with introduced animals for their habitat, food and shelter. Many have had to face new predators.

These new animals have caused a major impact on Australia's soil, waterways and on it's native plants and animals.

Feral animals impact on native species by predation, competing for food and shelter and by spreading diseases.

Unfortunately for the continent of Australia and it's native plants and animals, the fight against feral animals will continue for many, many years to come.
