What Can I do for the Flora and Fauna of The Land Down Under?

Supporting Australian Flora and Fauna
Often many people want to help out our native plants and animals, but don't know where to start. We can all help the Flora and Fauna in many ways, by simply putting a bird bath and bird feeders in our gardens. Keep your pets either inside or locked up at night.
You can volunteer your time at zoos, sanctuaries, animal parks - there is also plenty to do.
Adopt an Animal through the zoos - the money goes to helping out the zoo with the costs of keeping the animal and also research to help the whole species.
Wildlife Shelters always need help. They can always do with blankets, feeding dishes, financial aid, even a helping hand.
Even the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife can do with a helping hand with either time or donations.
Adopting a Penguin Buddy is a great way to help out.
What interests you? Plants, animals etc? See what's in your local area and call them up, I'll bet they could use your help - if we all do a little bit, we can make a BIG difference!
For ideas on who to contact to offer your support, have a look at the Help For Wildlife page or at our Wildlife Supporters page which has our zoos, parks, sanctuaries etc.
